Description
ZRC (ZaxNet Remote Controller) is the first dedicated handheld wireless remote controller for Zaxcom Digital Recording Wireless.
It gives users the ability to name and group transmitters, change frequencies, control power settings, adjust input gain, start/stop recording, manage timecode, format cards, and more. ZRC brings a new way to format internal memory cards in Zaxcom transmitters.
It can remotely format a single transmitter’s memory card or entire groups all from the device. ZRC can also generate, read, jam, and send SMPTE timecode wirelessly. A 3-pin LEMO provides timecode input and output for syncing or supplying timecode to other devices. ZRC can also operate with or without transmitting timecode.
Multiple ZRC units can be used together on the same production. ZRC brings greater control to ZaxNet’s 2.4 GHz wireless. Frequency and transmission power are adjustable to maintain a connection in any environments.
It controls transmitter smart power modes to conserve transmitter battery life. LOW2 records locally while disabling wireless transmission on compatible models. SLEEP shuts down all functions for maximum runtime. ZRC has controls for display brightness, text color, auto-dim, and delay settings. It is powered via external USB-C or two AA batteries – Alkaline, Lithium, or NiMH. USB-C provides access for firmware updates.
