Description
The Urchin Lav windshields are made to fit miniature lavalier mics 2-4mm in diameter.
The Urchin is made from synthetic black fur and has a low profile that is approximately 35mm across from end-to-end. Urchins provide optimal wind protection for most situations and are great to use for ENG interviews, scripted dialogue or plant mics.
The Urchins have a unique blue "saftey strap" which holds the fur firmly in place. Urchins can also be used when hiding personal lav mics under clothing to prevent rustling noise.
