GENELEC 8330A:

Genelec 8320A and 8330A are two-way smart active monitors designed for demanding professional applications.

Genelec Smart Active Monitor™ (SAM™) digital signal processing (DSP) built inside each smart active monitor with Genelec Loudspeaker Manager™ (GLM™) software provides unparalleled acoustic quality, ease of use, and high monitoring accuracy even in difficult acoustic environments.

The high performance drivers are directly connected to dedicated D Class power amplifiers. System protection is implemented as a part of the SAM signal processing.

The MDE™ (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure™) enclosure is made of die-cast aluminium and shaped to reduce edge diffraction. Combined with the advanced Directivity Control WaveguideTM (DCWTM), this design contributes to the excellent acoustic neutrality.

The choice of demanding professionals for whom power and flexibility go hand-in-hand, the 8330A offers a little more SPL and LF extension than its smaller 8320A sibling. Providing transparent and truthful reproduction, the 8330A’s wide uncoloured sweet spot means you are always in a position to make accurate, reliable mix decisions.

As a Smart Active Monitor, the 8330A integrates closely with Genelec GLM software via which it can be configured and calibrated for your listening environment, compensating for detrimental room influences to create a truly optimised monitoring solution from mono to immersive. GENELEC USER KIT:

The Genelec GLM Calibration Kit enables Smart Active Monitors and Subwoofers (SAM™) to work with Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™), Genelec award-winning monitoring calibration and management software offering precise automatic room adaption, advanced system control and highly detailed GRADE Room Acoustic Reporting.

The Calibration Kit includes a GLM Network Adaptor device, reference microphone, microphone holder, 1.8 meter USB cable and Quick Connection Guide.

Setting the Calibration Kit up to work with your SAM system is as simple as networking your SAM Series models together with their included 5 meter Ethernet cables, downloading the latest GLM software to your Mac or PC, then connecting the Network Adaptor to the computer using USB interface and to your SAM system using one of the 5 meter Ethernet cables included with your SAM monitors.

As an advanced alternative to using the Calibration Kit – for professionals who want to get the absolute most out of SAM and GLM – Genelec 9320A SAM™ Reference Controller includes the same reference microphone and holder and fulfils the functionality of the GLM Calibration Kit yet offers several further benefits, including a tactile user interface for managing high-channel-count immersive monitoring systems, flexible reference-quality connectivity for stereo in-room and headphone monitoring and measurements of SPL and sound exposure.

GENELEC 9310BM:

The Genelec 9310B Volume Controller provides stylish wired volume control for all SAM studio monitors connected to the GLM Network Adapter.

The Genelec 9310B Volume Controller can also be used with F One subwoofers manufactured from March 2022 onwards and F Two subwoofers manufactured from April 2022 onwards.

You can check compatibility from your subwoofer’s serial number sticker, located on the bottom of the unit. If the date shows 3/2022 (F One) or 4/2022 (F Two) or later, your subwoofer is fully compatible with the Genelec 9310B Volume Controller.
