RF filtering protects the receivers against interfering signal and unwanted dirty RF, maintains continuous RF reception in Diversity operations.

The AD224 is a 2xIN and 2x4 OUT active antenna distribution system front-end is fitted with custom tuned, high selectivity, low insertion loss bandpass filters.

The AD224 eliminates multiple receiver antennas and provides a tidy sound bag solution with improved RF performance. Advanced filtering design cleans up dirty RF within the operating bandwidth before feeding into the Diversity Receivers.

A very selective front-end filtering is now essential and important in our crowded radio frequency spectrum to protect the receivers from unwanted RF signals.

The AD224 is a custom designed Antenna Distribution (AD) system offers the solution to the antenna distribution requirements for portable sound bag applications. Designed for where the weight and size matters without sacrificing on performance.

The antenna inputs are industry standard BNC connectors which enables use of standard low loss RF coaxial extension cables, and the outputs are 2x4 mini-RF SMA connectors feeding the diversity receivers.

In applications when remote active antenna powering is needed the AD offers switchable Active Antenna Powering with RED LEDs indicating power ON/OFF status, the Active Antenna Powering can be turned ON/OFF through the high visibility large display menu.

The AD224 has an extremely high input signal handling capacity with exceptionally low noise figure RF Amplifiers and offers an outstanding inter-modulation performance when compared to other low power devices available.

The tuning bandwidth is custom tuned with a semi broadband response to suit varying applications, the system RF gain is user adjustable in 1dB steps between +6dB to -10dB, the AD224 is compatible with full-digital, digital-hybrid and analogue radio microphone receivers available in the industry.

The AD224 unit is externally powered between 10-18Vdc, the dc input connector is an industry standard 4-pin Hirose connector. The inbuilt Voltmeter continuously displays dc input voltage status.
