The Reference PIA-1 is composed of:

• cage with single axis swivel and light XLR extension (machined Neutrik XLR bodies)
• main fabric
• suspension of your choice
• fur

Regarding lightness and efficiency, it is not that simple to upgrade a PIA-1 to PIA-2 or PIA-3. Expecting a MS or double MS version, it is highly advised to acquire a PIA-2 or PIA-3 directly, which are fully compatible with mono use (inner detachable cables).
