ZOOM M2 MicTrak
The M2 MicTrak is Zoom's latest innovation in mobile recording. With an X/Y microphone capsule design and 32-bit float technology, the M2 delivers great sound from the first take. The M2 records clipping-free audio at all times. Thanks to 32-bit float recording, there's no need for clipping. Whether you're recording softly spoken dialogue or thunderous drums, you'll always get the sound you want.
Connect the M2 via USB to record and stream with a PC, Mac or in iOS or Android. For stationary recordings, mount the M2 on a microphone stand using the integrated microphone holder. With up to 11 hours of runtime on Type AA batteries, securely housed via a locking system, it ensures the M2 is always ready to go when you need it.
The M2 offers a normalisation function that allows you to optimise the levels of your recordings by raising or lowering the volume. This saves time and makes the post-production process more efficient.
Record in either mono or stereo mode. Stereo is recommended for music performances, while mono is the perfect choice for recording interviews and dialogue.
If there is only one opportunity to record the story, the M2 will not let you down. When you're on the move, you don't need any other recorder than the M2 to make high-resolution and transparent voice recordings at any time.
