The DV-SQN4S is a great alternative to using NP1 batteries. Designed around our DV-F series of batteries DV-F970 it offers an extremely cost effective portable powering solution. Connecting two Hawk-Woods Mini DV-NPF type batteries DV-F980 will provide some 100 Watts, which is 30-40% of a Li-Ion NP1 battery. The main output power is provided by a 4 pin Hirose cable mounted, the 4 auxiliaries are switched in pairs and fused at 1.5A per set. Outputs are regulated at 12V as standard as not to "over-volt" sensitive equipment like radio-mics, Tascams, etc.
