The Lav Concealer for the RODE Lavalier II is a versatile, discreet mount that easily adapts to different surfaces for a seamless fit. Crafted from soft rubber and precisely shaped for the RODE Lavalier II, it pairs perfectly with the RODE wireless PRO kit.

Designed by Bubblebee Industries, this industry-leading lapel microphone mount reduces clothing noise and acts as a shock absorber, shielding the microphone from vibrations and friction for clearer, superior sound. All of this is achieved while keeping the microphone completely concealed.

This Lav Concealer is a custom mount for the RODE Lavalier II that fits the capsule snugly, making it easier to conceal the mic while protecting it from glue build-up caused by repeatedly taping directly to the mic. Like the RODE Lavalier II, the Lav Concealer is designed to be ultra-low profile, sitting flush under clothing for discreet, professional-quality audio capture.

It can be attached directly to skin or clothing using Lav Concealer Tape, which is strong, hypoallergenic, and easy to apply, ensuring secure mounting on fabric or skin without worry.

The Lav Concealer is made from biodegradable natural rubber, offering an eco-friendly choice you can feel good about. The soft, flexible rubber excels at absorbing vibrations, outperforming harder materials like plastic, and reducing unwanted noise from reaching the lapel mic capsule.

The Lav Concealer for RODE Lavalier II also includes a colour-matched fabric guard and clothing clip made from sprung metal, which attach through small holes on the front and back of the concealer. The combination of rubber and metal works together to block friction and vibrations from transferring to the mic capsule, ensuring clearer sound.

CREATES SPACE:

Prevents fabric from touching the RODE Lavalier II capsule in confined spaces under or within clothing, protecting the lapel mic from friction noise and vibrations for cleaner, clearer recordings.

SHOCK ABSORBING:

The moulded rubber concealer provides outstanding absorption of vibrations and friction, while the metal clothing clip and fabric guard blocks vibrations from passing through the concealer to the microphones capsule.

COLOUR OPTIONS:

Available in matte black or matte white finish. The matte finish is non-reflective for discrete hiding.

WIRE FABRIC GAURD:

The removable wire fabric guard prevents fabric from contacting the capsule. Together, the wire and rubber materials effectively absorb friction, preventing any transfer of friction to the mic capsule.
